It just happened like a dream, suddenly, surprisingly, unexpectedly...

Yesterday afternoon, CC and I went to the West Acre's Mall to pick up the contact lenses I have ordered. After that the dinner time came and we just happen to decide to eat out. As a little adventure, Chili's was the one to be tasted this time.

I ordered the Citrus Fire Chicken & Shrimp and a Presidente Margarita. I loved the Margarita and inescapably felt gladly dizzy, thanks to my sensitivity to alcoholic drinks.

Soon it's time for dessert. I was scrupulously studying the dessert menu when I heard our waitress asking: 'Is there something else I can bring you guys'? My eyes left the menu and were immediately popped wide by what I saw: a row of girls, standing beside our table, each holding a poster with one huge word on it. My first guess, that it was a surprise birthday gift, was easily proved wrong as I read the posters one by one and put them into one stunning sentence:

WILL YOU MARRY ME?

I have to admit, that I was so astonished and scared that I didn't notice how and when CC has left his seat and knelt on one knee with a ring in his hand in front of me. I think I must be very awkward at that time, without the slightest hint of this moment, without the emotional preparation, and with so many smiling, anxious and blessing faces staring at me, I was completely speechless! My heart was shouting out 'YES', but with the dazed expression freezing on my face I couldn't move my lips to speak out the word. CC was also terribly nervous; I felt that since he asked me with his sweet yet a little trembling voice in Chinese again: Jia Gei Wo ba Yingying! This time I was melted, and burst out the 'YES' in Chinese: HAO!!

While CC put the ring on my finger, all the girls and some amused guests applause and cheered! Well, I am just sooooooooooooo HAPPY!

So, it just happened! It just happened that I am engaged in such an unexpected day! The jolly reminiscing of that priceless moment stole my sleep last night. Yes, THAT moment! It cast a shower of sweet sunshine on everything around me. It flickered like the warmest star on every cheerful or gloomy moment in my life. From now on, I am not alone any more. :)

(Funny facts behind the 'scene': CC was so nervous that he put the ring on my right hand instead of the usual left one, and forgot to say 'thank you' to those awesome girls for their help! He left 80% tips for them when we left. :D And I have to say that I love chili's, and you know the reason for that! They gave us a Chocolate molten cake to say congratulations!~）
